Just finished listening to the magnificent new Roy Bailey
anthology, “Singing Out 1969-2016” from Mrs Casey Records.
The seventy-song set includes Roy’s version of “The Roses Of Eyam”, which was the first take of the song to be released on record back in 1982.
This isn’t a cheap set by any means, but it is excellent, and a fitting testament to a great folk performer.
