Alexa, play B E A U ...

TOP TIP! It’s recently been pointed out to me that folks who simply ask their smart speakers to “play Beau” are most likely to be favoured with Messrs. Diddley, Williams, Wanzer etc. – possibly even the excellent Brummels – but not with yours truly.

HOWEVER… if, taking Alexa as an example, you say “Alexa, play B E A U” (spelling it out), the lady will comply with alacrity and with her own shuffle selection.

In fact, if you let her she’ll go on for hours without a repeat. That’s the point where you should say, “Alexa, play Bo Diddley”…
