An
interesting recent release!
“Travelling The Highway” is a collaboration between
Cherry Red Records and Felt Production Music and is, to quote the blurb, “An
assortment of retro compositions prominently featuring soft acoustic, and
psychedelic electric guitars. Nostalgic in nature, these tracks range from
heartfelt vintage pop instrumentals to experimental freeform jazz piano.”
It’s
not Simfonica, certainly not Beau, so it’s been issued under the Trevor Midgley
name.
The set comprises twenty-one instrumental pieces – mostly short – intended for use as incidental music in movies, dramas, documentaries etc. There is one long composition, “Ice & Energy”, a fourteen-minute experimental creation for piano, bass and percussion. Like I said, definitely not Beau!
So, do check it out. And if we have any budding cinematographers out there, well, you know where to come!
These then are the tunes that could well enhance your masterpiece! Enjoy!
