So dreadfully sorry to hear of the death of Clive Selwood, my
friend and benefactor from Dandelion Records days.
Clive, together with the
late John Peel, was the person who first gave me the opportunity to get my music
onto vinyl back in 1969. If it hadn’t been for Clive, it’s highly doubtful Beau
would have got off the ground, much less still be producing today. I owe him,
John and Clive’s late wife Shurl-gurl such a huge debt of gratitude.
My
sympathies go to all the Selwood family at this very sad time.
This is an interview he did for Cherry Red Records a few
years back.
