A couple of days back, Lawrence Jones
posted a question on the Beeb's Radio 4 Blog (Note 3)
asking whether I ever auditioned in front of the old Talent Selection Group (TSG).
I never did.
Back in
the late '60s I did quite a lot of contract work for Auntie, but whether it was
the Peel connection that saw me through or my connections with BBC Radio Leeds, I'll never know.
Sometimes, ya just get lucky...
